Shift & Hours
Day shift, 36 hrs per week: three 8‑hr shifts plus one 12‑hr shift, with a call requirement (minimum of one night every other week). Self scheduling.
Holiday/Weekend Requirement
- Holidays – per department protocol?
- Weekends – One night per week and one weekend night on call every 12 weeks.
On Call Compensation
One weekend night on call every 12 weeks: $3.00/hr while on call.
Must Haves
- License: Current North Carolina RN License or Compact Licensure.
- Certification: BLS.
- Experience: At least one year of ED/ICU/PACU/Med‑Surg experience.
- Education: Associate’s Degree.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
About the Unit
- Number of Beds: 13 OR suites.
- Patient Population: Adolescent to Geriatric.
- Common Diagnoses: General, robotics, urology, vascular, dental, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedic, neurosurgery and gynecology.
- Average # of cases per day/week: 35 cases per day.
- Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1.
