Experience: Minimum of 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology experience within the last 18 months.

License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required.

Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), APHON certification required.

Must-Have:

• Pediatric experience within the previous 18 months.
• Hematology/Oncology experience required.
• Must be willing to float to the Emergency Department for inpatient holds.
• EPIC electronic medical systems experience within the previous 12 months.
• No first-time travelers; must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months.

Description:Position involves providing nursing care to pediatric patients.You will work in a pediatric setting treating various specialties.Patient ratios range from 1:2 to 1:4.You will be required to participate in holiday rotations.On-call responsibilities may occur during low census periods.You must respond to phone calls or texts for rapid interviews.A professional reference from a charge, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months is preferred.All candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility as per local radius rules.Any past employee of the organization cannot work in another market within the last 12 months.Candidates must document required certifications and provide a skills checklist specific to pediatric and oncology disciplines.This position involves working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.You will play a vital role in the care and treatment of pediatric patients.
