Registered Nurse - Nights

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care for pediatric and adult patients (females over 18 years of age) in a Med-Surg and Post-Partum setting. The role requires strong clinical skills in a night shift capacity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
• Reassess patients regularly to identify progress and any trends requiring intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care in alignment with nursing standards.
• Document interventions and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education, as well as discharge planning.
• Utilize effective communication strategies and delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the orientation of new nurses and act as a resource for visitors and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in New Mexico or current Compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Pediatric and Med-Surg experience preferred.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
