This includes caring for adult health patients across various units. PCU travelers may be floated to different units during their contract. Occasionally, they may be floated to the emergency department or recovery unit to take adult health patients with inpatient orders waiting for a bed on a unit, though this is not common.
Candidates must meet specific requirements including a minimum of 24 months of relevant experience, active certifications, and a clean license record.
