PCU RN - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Weekends required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PCU RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will float between units as needed and provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our Progressive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a caseload of 4 patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying any changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting.
• Active RN license (compact license required).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Knowledge of patient care protocols, including medication administration and monitoring.
