Registered NurseThe Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN is a critical member of the Cardiovascular Unit which cares for a large number of cardiology patients annually. Procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. The unit specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. The department manages many national clinical trials related to cardiovascular health.
The unit has achieved recognition for its commitment to optimal outcomes and exceptional patient care. The leadership, medical staff, and colleagues work together as a team to demonstrate excellence in care, efficiency, and community value. A strict attendance policy is enforced, promoting accountability among staff. Any RN contractor who exceeds three occurrences of absence or tardiness will face immediate termination. Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed positively if supported by evidence.
