ARMStaffing is seeking experienced and highly skilled Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Registered Nurses (RNs) for nationwide travel and local assignments. If you're ready to deliver intermediate-level critical care and support patients in transition from ICU to med-surg, we’re ready to place you where you’re needed most.

Job Description:

As a PCU/Stepdown RN , you'll care for patients who are critically ill but stable enough to leave the ICU. You’ll monitor telemetry, administer complex medications, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition—all while playing a key role in patient recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with high acuity needs
• Interpret and respond to cardiac telemetry and vital signs
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and maintain care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure safe, effective treatment
• Document interventions and patient progress accurately and promptly

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry experience
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and critical thinking skills
• Experience with ventilator and drip management preferred
