Job Description
We are seeking a qualified RN Charge for our inpatient rehabilitation unit. This role requires extensive experience in both management and direct patient care. The primary focus will be to lead a team while providing high-quality care to patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in a high-acuity environment.
- Support nursing staff and assist with patient safety initiatives.
- Ensure timely medication administration and documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Guide and mentor less experienced nursing staff as needed.
- Participate in ongoing staff training and orientation programs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a skilled nursing or 24/7 skilled care environment.
- At least 13 weeks of experience in Epic.
- Managerial experience required.
- Must have Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity.
- Current BLS certification.
