Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Neuro/PCU RN to provide high-quality patient care in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in neuro and step-down critical care nursing, managing patient ratios of 1:4-5, and will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessment and care for patients in the Neuro/PCU unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor, record, and report changes in conditions or behaviors.
- Communicate effectively with all interdisciplinary team members.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in a Neuro or PCU setting.
- Current SC RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Telemetry competency is mandatory.
