Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Models proficiency through precepting and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care following evidence-based practices and clinical standards.
- Support specialty education and competency validation during clinical orientation.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and a collaborative team approach.
- Mentor new staff and promote continuous learning in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license.
- Minimum of 6 months ICU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification through recognized organizations, valid through sixty days of hire.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
