Description:The registered nurse will provide care for adult patients in a progressive care setting.Caring for patients transitioning from critical care units, as well as pre and post-operative patients.Responsible for monitoring patients requiring complex medication management and cardiac care.Must float to other adult units as needed to meet facility demands.Weekend shifts will be required every other week.Previous charge experience is preferred but not required.Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are essential.Experience using electronic health records systems is required.Must be comfortable with managing IVs, telemonitoring, and oxygen administration.This role entails working with patients who have various acute medical conditions.The nurse will implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.Expectations include adherence to facility policies and protocols, including infection control measures.
