Responsibilities
Provide high-quality RN PCU patient care in a fast-paced setting.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans daily.
Monitor patient status and escape changes to the team promptly.
Meet performance targets and contribute to pipeline-based planning for patient flow.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
Document accurately in electronic health records and ensure compliance.
Participate in on-site shift coverage and maintain high visibility of work activity.
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Demonstrate a growth mindset through ongoing learning and skill development.
Mentor junior staff and share best practices to improve team outcomes.
Engage in patient and family education to support care plans.
Experience/Qualifications
RN licensure in applicable state with active license
Minimum 2–3 years PCU or tele/step-down experience
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans daily
Excellent communication and escalation of changes to team promptly
Adherence to infection control and regulatory standards
Proficiency in electronic health records documentation
Strong patient and family education skills
Target-driven performance with participation in patient flow and pipelines
Mentor junior staff and share best practices
On-site shift coverage with high work activity visibility
