PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Dayshift Position
Schedule
This position offers a dayshift schedule from 05:30 AM to 04:00 PM for 4 shifts a week, with an average of one on-call shift during weekdays and the option for weekend call shifts.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse (RN) where you will provide specialized care to patients recovering from anesthesia. You will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, managing pain, ensuring comfort, and facilitating a smooth recovery process.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall recovery from anesthesia.
- Administer medications as required and manage patients' post-operative care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding recovery progress.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and comfort.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Valid RN license required.
- Current certification in BLS and ACLS preferred.
- Previous experience in post-anesthesia care or similar field is advantageous.
