Job Description:
This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity for RNs experienced in pre-operative, OR circulator, and post-anesthesia care units. Working across three specialized surgical areas within a facility equipped with three OR suites and a dedicated PACU, you will serve as a primary caregiver, seamlessly transitioning between roles as needed. The position involves handling general, OB/GYN, ophthalmology (including cataract surgery), and orthopedic surgeries, with those cases occurring monthly. You’ll be responsible for patient assessments, circulating cases, assisting with instrument processing, and providing patient education, all while maintaining strict adherence to infection control standards. The role emphasizes versatility, requiring proficiency in all three areas to support surgical teams effectively. Expect rotation shifts with some late days and a mix of weekdays, weekends, and holidays, ensuring a dynamic workweek that keeps you engaged and challenged.
