Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery (Contract)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 05:30 AM - 04:00 PM
Call Requirements: Approximately 2-4 call shifts every 4 weeks
On-call weekends: 0700 - 0700

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Outpatient Surgery unit. The ideal candidate will have pre-op and post-op experience, as well as a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing various procedures.
• Monitor patients' conditions and administer medication as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Previous Outpatient Surgery unit experience preferred.
