What You'll Do
- Assess human responses and plan nursing care for individuals or families.
- Provide leadership in a professional practice setting.
- Assign or delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff skill levels.
- Provide feedback regarding clinical practice and role performance.
- Participate on interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
- Promote patient safety initiatives and participate in quality initiatives.
- Utilize the nursing process to implement patient care plans.
- Analyze health status and determine patient care needs.
- Document changes in patient condition and notify appropriate personnel.
- Participate in professional organizations and continuous learning.
Requirements
Education:- Current State of PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Preferred certification in area of specialty
- CPR certification required
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
