Description:Surgical Associates offer general surgery services that deal with abdominal organs, soft tissue masses, and traumatic injuries.The general surgeon is always on call for urgent and emergent surgery.Commonly performed surgical procedures include colonoscopy, upper GI endoscopy, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy.Other procedures include soft tissue mass excision, open and laparoscopic hernia repairs, excisional biopsies, and hemorrhoid procedures.Oncologic surgery for breast or colon cancer and antireflux surgery are also performed.Skin grafting is part of the surgical services provided.The position requires a commitment to holiday work and scheduled call shifts.Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as changes will not be approved after that time.
