Operating Room Registered NurseThe position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This role involves working in the Operating Room as an OR Circulator. The nurse will be expected to participate in an "Emergency Team" as assigned. During emergencies, the nurse may need to stay at the facility until the situation resolves. Specific details pertaining to pay will be communicated during emergency events, as they vary. Weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call duties are required. Two weekends are expected in a six-week schedule. Green scrubs will be provided for the position. The unit supports adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates should be comfortable with handling a variety of surgical procedures.
Skills relevant to this position include familiarity with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomies, and various types of surgeries. Effective communication and teamwork with interdisciplinary support are essential. Candidates must be willing to comply with all facility protocols and guidelines. References from direct supervisors will be required for clearance to start. Only first-time travelers with sufficient experience will be considered.
