Must have strong liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant experience reflected on skills checklist.Must be proficient in Misonix/CUSA.Candidates must have experience putting organs back in the new patient, not just harvesting.
Description: with liver call; will perform other cases if no liver/transplant is available.Requirements are non-negotiable.First-timers accepted.1 shift per week and 2 twelve-hour weekend shifts per month are required.Nurse manager will discuss specifics during the interview.Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs is expected.Traveler must be aware that time-sensitive modules need to be prioritized once confirmed for an assignment.All travelers must be nicotine-free, with no exceptions.A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required.This is a short-term acute care teaching facility.All candidates must be willing to participate in training for students and new staff.Strict do not call in policy is enforced.This is a smoke-free facility.Travel candidates who remain on a continuous contract for a minimum of 1 year are required to complete annual hands-on competency.Candidates are expected to complete required modules prior to start.Modules are non-billable and vary by specialty.Failure to complete the competency requirements will result in removal from the schedule.
