The RN OR Circulator position involves providing nursing care to patients in the operating room, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring adherence to nursing standards and policies. What You'll Do

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs.
• Assist patients and families in developing healthcare goals as part of the care plan.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate with patients and families about interventions and care plans.
• Assess the needs of designated patients requiring hospitalization and initiate discharge planning.
• Recognize and address psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs of patients and families.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
• Integrate health promotion and preventive care into ongoing assessments.
• Participate in continued education programs and professional activities.

Requirements

Education:

• Washington State or Compact Multistate RN license required

Experience:

• Recent OR circulator experience preferred
• Scrub experience a plus

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current RN License in Washington
• AHA BLS certification required
