RN OR Circulator (Full Time)

New Mexico Surgery Center - Multispecialty is hiring an RN OR Circulator for a full‑time position.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday work schedule.
  • Off on holidays and weekends.
  • No call required.

Job Summary

  • Understands the mission statement and carries it out.
  • Determines data collection based on patient condition or needs related to proposed interventions.
  • Addresses physiological, psychological, socio‑cultural, and spiritual needs/responses of the patient.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and follows AORN standards.

  • Completes initial and annual competencies as required.
  • Maintains licenses and certifications.

  • Communicates clearly and concisely.
  • Attends required department and hospital meetings.
  • Assumes responsibility for continuing education requirements.

Required Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school or professional nursing program.
  • One (1) year of experience in surgery.
  • Must have robotic experience.
  • Current state RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
  • CNOR preferred.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to the operating room.
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstrating knowledge of the developmental needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
