RN - Operating Room

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR Circulator) to provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The OR RN will function as the circulator during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique compliance, and coordination of care throughout the perioperative process.

Variable shift

4 x 10-hour shifts

Typical start time 0630 (flexibility required)

Call may be required

Responsibilities

Serve as the circulating nurse for a variety of surgical procedures

Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and surgical time-outs

Maintain sterile field integrity and enforce surgical safety protocols

Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, scrub techs, and support staff

Monitor patient status and respond to changes appropriately

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room experience

Circulating experience required

BLS required

ACLS preferred

Ability to take call and work flexible scheduling

Ideal Candidate

Strong surgical workflow knowledge

Comfortable with multiple service lines (General, Ortho, GYN, etc.)

Team-oriented and adaptable

Experience in community hospital OR setting preferred
