RN – Obstetrics (OB)
Position Overview
We’re seeking an experienced OB Registered Nurse to join a supportive labor and delivery team in Delano, California. This role is ideal for an RN who is passionate about maternal and newborn care in a hospital setting.
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes in condition
- Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
- Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS & NRP required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 1–2 years OB/L&D experience preferred
- Strong fetal monitoring and newborn care skills
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
