The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide care for mothers and newborns in a designated women's services unit. This role includes both antepartum and postpartum care, as well as intra-partum and operating room responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care for mothers and newborns.
- Circulate for Cesarean sections and manage pre‑ and post‑operative care.
- Manage complications such as hemorrhage and monitor maternal and fetal health.
- Document patient assessments and care in electronic health records.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Mexico or a compact state.
- Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, and NRP.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in labor and delivery.
- Experience with LDRP care is preferred.
