Summary
The RN - Nurse Educator will provide coverage for all inpatient MCH, including Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, MBU, and Pediatrics. The position requires strong Labor & Delivery skills, a minimum of two years of Labor & Delivery experience, a Master's degree in Education, and strong, recent hands-on experience, including scrubbing within the past five years. The Nurse Educator will support education for Labor & Delivery, NICU, and postpartum.
Required Education
- Master's Degree.
- Master's in Education required.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- New York State RN License.
- Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYS Department of Education (NYSED).
- AHA BLS.
Required Skills & Experience
- Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience.
- Strong and recent hands-on experience, including scrubbing within the past 5 years.
- Provides coverage for all inpatient MCH, including L&D, NICU, MBU, and Peds.
- Supports education for Labor and Delivery, NICU, and postpartum.
