Position: RN - Nurse Educator
Department: Nursing Inservice Education
Address: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Duration: 13 Weeks (07/27/2026 - 10/31/2026)
Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7.5 Hours/Day | 37.5 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $80-$85/hr.
Additional Information
  • No On-Call
  • Coverage for inpatient Maternal Child Health (MCH) units, including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby Unit (MBU), and Pediatrics.
  • Support education for Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Postpartum.
  • Master's in Education required.
Required Experience
  • Two (2) years of Medical/Surgical experience.
  • Solid clinical background.
  • Two (2) years of Labor & Delivery experience.
  • Strong Labor & Delivery skills.
Required Education
  • Master's Degree in Education.
Required Licenses
  • New York State Registered Nurse License.
  • Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from the New York State Department of Education (NYSED).
Required Certifications
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing education coverage for inpatient Maternal Child Health units.
  • Support education for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Mother-Baby Unit, and Pediatrics.
