What You’ll Do
- Provide nursing services in accordance with applicable standards and guidelines.
- Work one-on-one with a preceptor following a Tiered Skills Acquisition Model.
- Participate in a 14-week program with day/night rotation and classroom training.
- Care for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Demonstrate ability to care for surgical and medical patients.
- Ensure a safe environment for short-term psychiatric patients.
- Utilize medications safely specific to the acute care patient population.
- Identify personal learning needs and seek opportunities for self-growth.
- Complete annual nursing competencies and attend mandatory training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience
- No prior experience required.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in Massachusetts required.
- Current BLS certification required.
