What You'll Do
- Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
- Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
- Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for managing medical and/or surgical patients.
- Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and document in the EMR.
- Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patient responses to treatment.
- Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
