Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Adult Units, Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Full‑time (0.9 FTE), Shift 3 (1900‑0730). Sign‑on bonus eligible. On‑site location.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a defined group of adult patients in an inpatient setting.
• Deliver competent and safe care to a primarily adult population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage target patient populations specific to the unit.
• Maintain up‑to‑date nursing documentation and follow institutional protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; non‑BSN RN with <1 year of experience required to enroll in a BSN program within 15 months of hire and complete the degree within 5 years (6 years if MSN/DNP/PhD).
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a multi‑state Nursing License under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
• Clinical competence and experience in caring for adult inpatient populations.
