- Must be comfortable with a 1:8 patient ratio.
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS and NRP within 48 hours of offer.
- COVID vaccination required; declinations not accepted.
- Previous travel experience required.
Description:
- Participates in clinical monitoring at the unit level.
- Participates in established patient, family, staff, and/or student education programs.
- Develops, documents, and implements Patient Teaching and Discharge Planning Records.
- Identifies unit, staff, and patient care problems.
- Takes action or refers problems to appropriate resources when indicated.
- May participate in activities of the RN 3 with the exception of serving as a facilitator for the Nurse Residency Program.
- If competent, serves as a charge RN and monitors productivity and patient flow.
- If competent, precepts new staff.
