This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (7 PM - 7:30 AM), with 36 hours scheduled and 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that cancelation of shifts is permitted.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of postpartum experience in a high acuity level I trauma facility. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and skills in providing care to postpartum patients and must have recent travel experience to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the postpartum unit.
• Provide education and support to new mothers and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Adhere to all facility protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 24 months of postpartum nursing experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no disciplinary actions.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Current NRP certification from an approved vendor.
• Driver's license for residency verification.
