Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry
This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension.
Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythms.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
- Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Recent experience with Epic charting within the last 6 months is mandatory.
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
