RN - Maternal Child Health Per Diem - Day, Evening and Night Shifts

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a minimum of two years of recent inpatient experience for per diem, part‑time, or full‑time roles in our women’s and children’s service line.

Per Diem Commitment Levels (per 6‑week Schedule)

• Level 1: 32–72 hours
• Level 2: 73–110 hours
• Level 3: 111–144 hours

Available Shifts

• Day Shift
• PM (Evening) Shift
• Night Shift

What You Will Do

Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.

Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.

Assume responsibility, accountability, and authority for outcomes of nursing care.

Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.

Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high‑quality patient experience.

What You Will Need

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.

Education: BSN degree preferred.

Certification: BLS, PALS, and NRP certification through AHA required.

Experience: 2 years current hospital nursing experience required in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Antepartum, Pediatrics, NICU, or PICU.
