Registered Nurse - Perioperative

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide exceptional patient care in the perioperative setting. This position does not require on-call, holiday, night, or weekend shifts, allowing for a consistent work-life balance. The ideal candidate will bring advanced experience in clinical technology and strong leadership skills to enhance the surgical caseload.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage patient care during surgical procedures.
• Utilize advanced clinical technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff in adherence to AORN standards and practice recommendations.
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure efficient workflow in the operating room.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to surgical interventions.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS & BLS certifications required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of proven perioperative experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a clinical setting with quantifiable accomplishments.
• Advanced level experience in current clinical technology and practical knowledge of information technology.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
