Summary
You will provide expert post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from a diverse range of procedures. From quick outpatient surgeries to complex, high-risk cases, our PACU nurses are vital in ensuring patients smooth recovery and safe transition to their next phase of carewhether its inpatient, outpatient discharge, or critical care. Work with a wide range of acuity and procedures, including gynecology, urology, vascular, cardiac, pulmonary, trauma, orthopedics, plastics, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. Under the direction of the department director/charge nurse, provides care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
EXPERIENCE:
- One year critical care or PACU experience
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Hemodynamics, phlebotomy and airway management
OTHER:
- Basic computer skills
LICENSE/CERT:
- Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri
- Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
- Required: ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION:
- Required: Associates - Nursing
- Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
