Unit Manager – is responsible to oversee the care management of a population of patients within an assigned area, unit or clinical function. The position conducts the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the scope of the State's Nurse Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensures. The Unit Manager - RN coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to the center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid RN or LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Must have, as a minimum, one year(s) of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility.
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
