Position: RN – Long Term Care – Sub Acute (EPIC Backfill)
Location: Delano, CA, United States
Shift: Night Shift – 36 to 48 hours per week (3x12s). Must have recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months.
Facility: Talented Medical Solutions – 156‑bed community and teaching hospital.
Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs nursing staff, coordinates care with other disciplines, utilizes critical thinking, and exercises independent judgment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
- Acute care facility experience – Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor – Required
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification – Required
Essential Functions
- Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a care plan to achieve outcomes.
- Coordinate care delivery, employ strategies to promote health, and maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team; provide education and information.
- Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care.
- Delegate duties appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
