We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated maternal care team in Greeley, Colorado . This role involves providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Position Overview
The L&D RN will be responsible for monitoring maternal and fetal health, assisting with deliveries, and providing compassionate care to patients and families during the childbirth process.
Responsibilities
Assess, monitor, and care for patients during labor and delivery
Monitor fetal heart tones and maternal vital signs
Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Provide postpartum and newborn care
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and newborn care
Document patient care accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements
BLS and ACLS Certification
NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring preferred
2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills
