Job Description:

Step into a rewarding travel nursing role within the high-energy labor and delivery unit at a magnet-recognized hospital in Anchorage, Alaska. As an L&D RN, you’ll be vital in supporting high-risk antepartum, triage, and delivery procedures in a fast-paced setting that averages around seven daily deliveries, including inductions and emergencies. Your expertise will help ensure smooth workflows in a unit featuring multiple OB triage and delivery rooms, OR suites, and a dedicated PACU area. Job Specifics:

Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Shift: 12-hour nights
Duration: 26 weeks with guaranteed 48 hours per week
This role involves caring for high-risk antepartum, triage, and delivery patients, with a focus on supporting inductions and emergency deliveries in a busy OB unit. The schedule is primarily nights with every other weekend work. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, and NRP certifications, along with AK RN licensure in hand for an immediate start. The facility offers free parking and uses Epic charting, providing a seamless workflow experience for travelers.
