The RN in the Intensive Care Float Pool provides comprehensive nursing care for patients with critical health issues. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who thrive in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with a healthcare team.

What You'll Do
- Perform accurate multi-system assessments, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education needs, and discharge planning needs.
- Develop an individual nursing plan of care sensitive to the developmental needs of the patient.
- Coordinate patient care activities and discharge planning with other hospital and clinic departments and community agencies.
- Initiate appropriate measures based on protocol for the management of medical and/or surgical patients.
- Correctly carry out the physician's plan of care and accurately document in the EMR.
- Evaluate assessment methods, plan of care, and patients' responses to treatment.
- Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
Requirements
Education:
- RN degree required
Experience:
- Experience in critical care preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
- Current RN License in Oregon
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
