- Strong technical skills including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet development, and database management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in reviewing and editing documents.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently and work independently using strong judgment.
Description:Seeking candidates for a full-time Infection Preventionist.This position will serve as a subject matter expert for infection prevention and control.The Infection Preventionist will provide support for various activities and ensure alignment with objectives and milestones.Responsibilities include creating and updating standard operating procedures and protocols.The role involves developing and implementing strategic ideas to promote infection prevention efforts.The Infection Preventionist will conduct on-site and teleconference assessments in various settings.Summary reports of assessments will need to be completed within two weeks of evaluation.Follow-ups with facilities are necessary to ensure implementation of recommendations.The position includes providing education and training on infection prevention topics.Consultation for outbreak investigations, particularly those associated with healthcare facilities is also required.Conducting interviews about risk factors related to outbreaks will be part of the duties.The Infection Preventionist will draft, review, and edit technical reports and educational materials.There will be a focus on evaluating research and incorporating evidence-based practices into routines.The willingness to travel as needed is expected.Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
