RN II-ICU-CVICU (CNA)
Responsible for the planning, coordination, and provision of nursing care to patients on the critical care setting. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. Responsible for critical care nursing knowledge and skills applicable to but not limited to the care of patients with multi system failure requiring ventilation, neuro / trauma, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic monitoring. This position is represented by CNA.
This position is for an EPIC conversion. Candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years and have worked as an employee of an organization / successfully completed a contract. Each work history entry must list the charting system used. If multiple EMR systems are listed on one job, dates must be provided to clarify when each system was used. No RTO is allowed. The listed start date is firm.
Night Shift 36 or 48 hours per week Auto Offer, EPIC Backfill. Must have current Epic experience.
Education and Work Experience:
High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
Associate Degree (A.A. or A.S.): Required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
Passing completion of a Critical Care Nursing course: Required
Six months previous critical care experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN license in state of practice: Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 1 year of hire or transfer into the department. (Current employees as of 06.30.
