Description:This position requires the ability to work rotating shifts.A schedule cycle of 4 weeks will alternate between day and night shifts depending on operational needs.It is essential to float to different ICU and telemetry units as well as emergency and post-anesthesia care.All pre-approved time off must be disclosed prior to the offer.Requests for time off after contract acceptance will not be considered.Experience in a float pool, post-anesthesia care unit, or emergency room is preferred.Registered Nurses in this position will manage a variety of critical care responsibilities.Responsibilities include patient management in various scenarios including cardiac, neuro, and general surgical intensive care.Additional skills in areas such as the management of ECMO, ventilated patients, and central lines are expected.Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential, and support from various clinical teams will be provided.Flexibility to float to different units and campuses is required.This position is critical for patient care across multiple high-acuity settings.
