Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Job Description

The role involves providing critical care nursing services in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) during night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring and caring for patients with severe or life‑threatening conditions. Previous experience in ICU or critical care is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care for critical care patients in the ICU.
  • Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, documenting in the appropriate charting system.
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Be prepared to float to MedSurg and other units as needed based on hospital requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of travel experience with critical care / ICU nursing.
  • Must hold a valid RN license in Ohio.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
