RN ICU Float Nights

Role Overview:

Provides specialized bedside nursing care in an intensive care environment, utilizing the nursing process to deliver evidence-based, top-of-scope practices. Emphasizes a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritize wellness, and promote safety and quality at the point of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in a technically complex ICU setting, following evidence-based models including AACN's Synergy Model and specialty standards.
• Support and mentor new staff and students through precepting, fostering professional growth.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and high-quality clinical environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited or approved nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 6 months ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification, with BLS valid through sixty days of hire.
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to continuous learning in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
