Float Pool Nurse – Summary
The float pool department plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of patient care across the hospital by providing a versatile and adaptable workforce. Float pool nurses provide crucial support to all acute care units experiencing temporary staffing shortages, including emergency department boarders, step down units, med/surg telemetry units, lock down psych, long‑term care, and more. This position offers nurses variety, excitement, and an ever‑changing work environment. Location: Everett Medical Center Colby‑Everett, WA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire (unless otherwise indicated)

Pay Range
$47.73 – $89.59 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
