Critical Care Registered Nurse - ICU

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift is 12-hour nights from 18:45 to 07:15.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience. The nurse will provide specialized care for critically ill patients, utilizing advanced skills and technology in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with conditions such as DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, and Stroke.
- Utilize IV starts, telemetry, and titration of cardiac drips.
- Manage feeding tubes, heparin protocols, and PCA.
- Serve as a member of the Rapid Response Team.
- Float to Med-Surg as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.
