House Supervisor - Registered NurseThis position requires a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.The House Supervisor, Registered Nurse, is responsible for promoting and restoring patient health through effective management of the nursing staff and patient care areas. This includes collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, as well as providing essential emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily management and long-term planning of patient care.Develop and direct nursing staff, including selection, training, and performance appraisal.Ensure adherence to nursing operational standards and contribute to strategic planning.Monitor expenditures and assist in budget preparation to meet financial standards.Establish rapport with patients and their families to understand service needs.Maintain nursing guidelines by updating policies and procedures as necessary.Guarantee quality care by enforcing state board requirements and hospital standards.Complete patient care requirements by scheduling nursing assignments and follow-ups.Support patient independence through education on disease management and self-care.Resolve patient needs by employing multidisciplinary team strategies.Maintain a clean and safe working environment by implementing relevant procedures and protocols.Protect patient confidentiality and manage documentation of care services.Ensure the functionality of medical and administrative equipment through regular maintenance and necessary repairs.Maintain supply inventory by tracking usage and anticipating needs.Enhance professional knowledge through continuing education and participation in professional organizations.Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams through effective communication and problem-solving.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureMust possess a valid RN license in Wyoming or a multi-state RN license.Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications from the American Heart Association.A minimum of 2 years of experience as a House Supervisor in a hospital setting is required.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
