Description:Provides coordinates and directs the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures.Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process.Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses.Home visits and periodic office meetings are required.Must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license as well as agency-required liability insurance.The average number of patients seen per day is between 5-8.Points are assigned for each type of visit and activity such as documentation and travel, with a total of 30 points expected per week.Each contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points.Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and follow-up visits.No first-timers accepted; recent specialty experience is required.Weekend requirements may vary by location and profession.Must be open to on-call rotations.Willingness to travel up to 75 miles is necessary.Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS Standard rate.All travelers must be proficient in necessary EMR systems and documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient visit.The clinician must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance, as declining patients may result in a cancellation.There are no guaranteed hours with this contract.Clinicians must meet a weekly productivity requirement of 30 points which equates to a full-time workload.If not receiving enough patients to meet financial needs, opportunities may be available to float to nearby clinics.
