Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health
Location: Wake, Orange, and Durham Counties, NC
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
8 hours per day
4 to 5 days per week
On-call coverage as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes
- Manage a caseload of home health patients and coordinate care plans
- Complete comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Accurately document care utilizing OASIS and agency documentation standards
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medications, and treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with agency, state, and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Previous skilled home health experience
- Proficiency in OASIS documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and case management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates with the following experience will stand out:
- Wound care management
- IV therapy administration
- PICC line care and lab draws
- Venipuncture and specimen collection
- Strong home health case management experience
